Retreat highlights ✨

Hey Reader,

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible cocktail photography retreat I had the privilege of hosting with my friend Suze in the UK last month, and share a few highlights with you.

First off, I can’t thank you enough for being part of this community! Your support means the world to me ❤️ Hosting this retreat was such a fulfilling experience, and I’m excited to give you a glimpse into what made it so special.

A Creative Setting in the UK

We gathered at a stunning venue in the heart of the English countryside - imagine stylish, cozy interiors and the garden that were just perfect for photographing drinks and mixing our own cocktails. The location was beyond beautiful!

Highlights of the Retreat

The retreat was a blend of hands-on photography and mixology lessons, with mouthwatering food and cocktails I still dream about! Plus, we had loads of long, meaningful chats 🗨️.

Some of my favorite moments were watching everyone’s creativity come alive as we all and the attendees worked together. We experimented with different glassware, garnishes, and props, transforming simple drinks into works of art (I was stunned by how inspired and creative they were)!

Having Suze teach us the secrets behind crafting delicious cocktails was a highlight! I can’t wait to share my personal bespoke cocktail with you—it's a whiskey sour with a kick of horseradish, and I’ve named it the Risky Sour 🤣.

My Personal Takeaways

As the host, this retreat truly inspired me. It was so rewarding to see each participant grow, challenge themselves, and form connections. I learned so much from everyone—each person brought something unique to the table, creating a beautiful exchange of ideas and techniques.

This experience reminded me that photography isn’t just about taking pictures. It’s about storytelling. Each cocktail we photographed had its own narrative, and I’m so proud of what we created together.

What’s Next?

For those of you who couldn’t join this time, I’m already planning future events that will dive even deeper into the world of photography and beyond. Stay tuned for some exciting details coming your way!

And remember, even if you missed the retreat, you still have a chance to work with me one-on-one. Both online and in-person. Feel free to reply to this email. I’d love to chat about your options!

I’m truly grateful for this community, and I can’t wait to keep sharing the art of photography with all of you.
